The Menlo flag football team ran its season win streak to 13 after a 26-6 victory over visiting Sacred Heart Prep in a West Bay Athletic League game Monday.

On Monday, sophomore Ava Allen threw to four receivers for touchdowns, including Scarlett Bundy, Ellie Knoll and Mary Mahe on Senior Day

Menlo hit the ground running - a reverse to Kaelee Wang and an Ava Allen run set junior set the scene for junior Sophie Housser to reel in an Allen touchdown pass on the opening possession. Maren Mulloy completed the two-point try.

Sacred Heart Prep came back with a pick-6 to pull within two.

Menlo then reeled off 18 consecutive points. Addi Bruni, a fleet-footed freshman, bolted 62 yards. Senior Scarlett Bundy scored on a TD pass from Allen and Menlo led 14-6 with 6:45 left.

Senior Ellie Knoll completed the drive with a TD reception from Allen.

Housser’s interception then set up the Knights final scoring drive - Mary Mahe, a senior, grabbed a touchdown reception from Allen.

The Knights (13-0) take on St. Ignatius at Kezar on Wednesday.
