The Menlo girls’ tennis defended its Challenge Cup with a narrow 4-3 win over Monta Vista in the annual match at Alpine Hills Swim & Tennis Club on Tuesday,

The Knights (3-0) next host the Golden State Classic, starting at 9 on Friday.

Against Monta Vista, the Menlo singles swept to take the win.This marks the second title in as many tries after Menlo went 2-0 in the Tyler Nii Champions Cup.
