The Menlo School volleyball team dropped a 25-15, 25-14, 25-14 decision to visiting Sacred Heart Prep in a WBAL opener Thursday.

Junior setter Jamie Johnson posted four aces, 11 assists and nine digs. Senior Ava Wang had a team-high 14 digs.

Sophomore Alex Fair posted seven kills and senior Zoe Zdrodowski added three blocks. Freshman Gianna Goudey delivered six kills.

Menlo next plays host to Crystal on Tuesday.
