The Menlo School volleyball team rolled to a 25-17, 25-19, 25-13 victory over visiting Crystal on Tuesday.

The Knights picked up their first win after a grueling preseason, which included the Dave Mohs Tournament in Huntington Beach where several of the top teams in Southern California competed. Menlo plays Mercy on the road before hosting the Chris Chandler Invitational on Saturday.

Sophomore Alex Fair posted a team-high 17 kills, and hit..429 for the night while tallying eight digs. Freshman Gianna Goudey added nine kills and senior Kinsey Nam delivered five. Junior Jamie Johnson distributed 22 assists and senior Ava Wang and sophomore Allison Yu had five. Johnson also had six aces for the night while Fair and Yu each added two. Wang posted a team-high 12 digs, Nam pitched in with seven and Johnson 6.
