The Menlo flag football team defeated visiting St. Francis 27-12 in West Bay Athletic League play Wednesday.

The Knights improved to 4-0 in WBAL and 8-0 overall.

Knights junior quarterback Ava Allen connected with sophomore Lisi Mahe for three touchdowns, and scored on a keeper. Senior Maren Mulloy, sophomore Kaelee Wang and junior Sophia Longinidis had conversions for the Knights. Wang and freshman Claire Barkley made interceptions.

Menlo 38, Sacred Heart Cathedral 0

The Menlo flag football team rolled to a 38-0 win over visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral on Monday to improve to 7-0.

Knights junior quarterback Ava Allen fired touchdown passes to senior Maren Mulloy twice, sophomore Lisi Mahe and senior Sophie Housser. Housser also tossed a deep TD pass to Allen in the second half and freshman Kaylee Amazona found Mahe, who pulled in the pass and ran in for a score.

Freshman Sierra Wynn posted three sacks and sophomore Addi Bruni had two more. Olivia Capasso, Sophia Longinidis and Anika Shah each had interceptions.

The Knights have outscored their opponents 240-70.
