The Menlo girls’ basketball team shifted its defense for a huge second-half comeback en route to a thrilling 46-44 win against Homestead at home on Saturday.
The Knights (9-2) erased an eight-point halftime deficit, pushed the Mustangs (9-4) to the perimeter and held on in the waning seconds.
Knights sophomore Anika Shah poured in a team-high 18 points, including four three-pointers. Lisi Mahe, also a sophomore, added nine points and junior Ava Allen seven more as seven Knights scored.
Katie Tal scored a game-high 19 points for Homestead.
