The Menlo girls’ lacrosse team defeated visiting Hillsdale 23-5 in a season opener Thursday.

Knights senior Elia Choe, an Amherst commit, poured in seven goals and two assists, along with four groundballs. Senior Marin Yamada, who is set to play for Smith next year, and freshman Tate Goldman each had four goals.

Tiergan Rowe, a sophomore, made five saves.

Dartmouth commit Hannah Bernthal and freshman Katelyn Dhaliwal each posted two goals and three assists. Sophomore Kaelee Wang had a hat trick while Noa Levav had a goal and assist and Payton Lee assisted on a goal.
