Menlo’s 4x800 team of sophomore Oliver Olbekson, junior Joseph Hurd, senior Amay Srinivasan, and Hauser charged to a gold medal in a CCS-meet record 7:46.26.
“The key was trust and belief. If not for each of our parts in the relay, we would not have been in the position for the win and meet record,” Hauser said. “Everyone on the team stepped up and truly believed in each other that we could make it happen.”
