Menlo student-athletes race at Nike Outdoor Nationals

Onyejekwe, racing unattached, also ran the 110m hurdles Championship Division race in 14.36, good for 23rd overall.
The boys 4x800 team—Oliver Olbekson, Joseph Hurd, Amay Srinivasan and Henry Hauser —took 11th place in the Championship Division with a time of 7:48.49. Hauser anchored the relay in a personal-record 1:50.74. The relay, running with Olympian Elite, was named to the NON All-American second team.
Hauser also placed 18th overall in the 800m Championship Division race. He won his heat in 1:52.86. He is the fifth fastest junior in both the 800m and 1600m in California, and is the nation’s 27th fastest junior in the 1600.
Olbekson took second in his heat, running the Emerging Elite Mile in 4:20.30. He is the state’s ninth fastest sophomore in th the 1600.
