Biography
I currently serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Menlo School, where I lead the school’s finances, operations, and long-term strategic planning in support of its mission and values. Before joining Menlo, I spent 16 years as the founding Chief Financial Officer at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School in New York City, helping build a pioneering model for educational equity and teacher excellence.
I earned my Integrated Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Applications from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi. I started my professional journey in the United States as a computer engineer, later holding leadership roles at Standard & Poor’s and Sapient. Inspired by my grandmother’s lifelong commitment to learning, I’ve always been driven by the belief that education has the power to transform lives and communities. Earlier in my journey, I also co-founded TutorAndMentor, an education venture that sought to make high-quality tutoring accessible to students from all backgrounds.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy serving on various non-profit boards and contributing as a volunteer CFO for organizations focused on educational and community impact. I am a proud mother of two and find great joy in learning from and supporting the communities I serve.
