Biography

This is a semester-long class. Students can take this class in either the fall OR the spring. 

In this course students will dive deep into design, engineering and robotics systems. This is a project based, student centered course where you will learn by exploring your passions. Some of the projects we will do include a soap box car race, sensor-controlled greenhouse, phone-controlled boom boxes, ‘Fashionista’ lighted clothes, animal-related projects like automatic pet feeders and many more that will raise your skills, knowledge and excitement. Take this course if you have a passion for creativity and engineering. You will learn the skills to innovate for the 21st century by creating projects that and amaze your friends and scare off your enemies.

Prerequisites: B+ or higher in a previous Whitaker course
