Biography

With over a decade of experience as a teacher, academic dean, and leadership coach, I am thrilled to now be a part of the Menlo community. Originally from the Boston area, I earned my BA in Psychology and Economics from Wesleyan University. I began my career as a Teach For America corps member in New York City, where I also earned my Master’s in Teaching. Over nine years as a teacher in the South Bronx and Bushwick, Brooklyn, I taught students from first through eighth grade. As a leadership coach, I coached principals and deans and designed and led professional development for school leaders nationwide.

After a decade in schools, I pursued my MBA at the Yale School of Management, where I served as a Club Leader for the Design & Innovation Club and was an active member of the Education Club. I then worked as an education strategy consultant at Tyton Partners, supporting clients with complex challenges across the education sector. Ultimately, I realized my passion for working directly in schools remained strongest, so I am excited to be back in the classroom teaching math and serving as Freshman Class Co-Dean.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, backpacking, traveling, experimenting with new recipes, and exploring San Francisco’s nature, museums, and restaurants. I also love watching and discussing movies and TV. I remain a loyal Boston sports fan, but I am loving calling San Francisco home. Go Knights!
