Middle School Athletics

Interim Director of Middle School Athletics

Biography

I’m excited to join Menlo as the Middle School Athletic Director. I bring a unique blend of elite athletic experience, a deep commitment to student development, and a strong academic background.

I earned a B.A. while playing volleyball and softball at UCLA, earned a J.D. at USC Law School, and am licensed to practice law in California. As an Olympian (Rio 2016) and former professional beach volleyball player, I competed at the highest levels of my sport for over a decade. After coaching beach volleyball at Stanford for eight years, I transitioned into school athletics administration as the Assistant Athletic Director at Castilleja School. I am passionate about creating a world-class, character-driven athletic experience that helps middle school students grow not only as athletes but also as confident, resilient individuals.I believe in the power of sports to teach teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. Above all, I think sports are fun!

Outside of work, I enjoy being active and outdoors. I am a struggling but avid gardener, and I am always looking for recipes to trick my family into eating more vegetables. I live on the Stanford campus with my husband, daughter and son.
