Biography

After studying Art History and Classics at UC Davis, I fell in love with Latin and decided to make a career of it.  I packed up my life and headed to the east coast where I received a Master of Arts and Teaching Latin and the Classical Humanities.  Since then, I have taught middle school Latin in southern California, English in Thailand, and beginning Greek and Latin as a lecturer at UC Davis.  In 2013, I found my home here at Menlo teaching middle school Latin once again.

Most of my time outside of work is spent with my two amazing daughters and wonderful husband. We enjoy exploring outdoors, going on walks, and visiting friends and family. My husband and I also enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee whenever we can work it into our busy schedules.
