Science Teacher and Science Department Chair

I started teaching high school in 1996. I have taught math, biology, astronomy and all levels of physics. I was the director of the Cahall Observatory at Thayer Academy from 2003 to 2014.

I have also have advised student projects in rocketry, astrophotography and holography. Since 2008, I have spent my summers at MIT mentoring undergraduate physics majors interested in middle or secondary school teaching in the physical sciences.

I enjoy playing the piano, reading and hanging out with my family. My newest project is to explore the Bay Area.
