P.E. - 6th Grade

Biography

Sixth grade students are exposed to a variety of activities and teams tailored to different levels of competition and commitment. Our program structure ensures every student has the opportunity to learn a new sport or participate in structured competition. Through expert coaching and organized practices, students develop fundamental skills, improve physical fitness, and master the rules and tactics of the game, all while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork.

The 6th-grade curriculum includes the following sports: Swimming, Tennis, Water Polo, Cross Country, Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Track, Lacrosse, Baseball, Golf, and Volleyball. Each student may select one offering during each of the four sports seasons. Additionally, all students are eligible to participate in our Golf tournaments, Cross Country meets, Swim meets, and Track and Field meets. To ensure an appropriate level of challenge and growth for every athlete, interscholastic teams are scaled by skill level, offering participation at the JVA and JVB levels.
