Biography

Before coming to Menlo in 2018, I taught and coached in both Oakland and Palo Alto. During my time in Palo Alto, I was a member of the AVID site team. Additionally, I coached basketball and track and field, specifically shot put and discus. In Oakland, I volunteered to teach in a title one school. I also volunteered as a teacher with incarcerated youth in the Philippines.

I was born in Turkey and raised in Palo Alto. Outside of school, I enjoy playing basketball, cooking, reading, traveling, and playing the cello.
