Biography

I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, and I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Political Science, Government, and Public Health. My political career started as an intern in the House of Representatives and concluded as Chief of Staff for a representative in the Hawaii State Legislature. I moved to the Bay Area in 2003 and in addition to raising my two boys I co-founded a kids yoga company. I also do freelance graphic design work.

I have two boys, two dogs, and four chickens. I enjoy cooking, gardening, coffee, s’mores, audio books, new restaurants, hiking, and travel.
