Biography

I came to Menlo as a part-time teacher in Art History in 1999, while working towards my PhD at Stanford in that subject. I fell in love with teaching Menlo students and am currently teaching English 2 and Art History in the Upper School. I keep up with current events by working with Menlo’s Model UN club.

I play viola in the Redwood Symphony, and in the summers I attend a weeklong chamber music workshop. I love enjoying the Bay Area’s nature and culture with my husband and 2 kids, but staying home to play with our guinea pigs also satisfies!
