Biography
I come to Menlo School after a 38-year career as a software developer, analyst, and project manager primarily in the Aerospace industry. Previously, I also helped create and served in the AP Computer Science program at San Mateo High School. The inspiration and joy I gained from working with students as they experienced the creativity, precision, elegance and even the frustrations associated with expressing themselves through programming compelled me to transition into full-time teaching.
My wife and I are both Bay Area natives, with three adult children, two of whom work as computer scientists and one who attends law school.
Outside of school, I will continue another passion as I enter my 24th year of coaching baseball at the middle school and high school level.
