Biography

Originally from the Bay Area, I am excited to be joining the Menlo School faculty as a Computer Science teacher! I discovered my interest in Computer Science after my first semester at USC as an Astronautical Engineering major. In that first semester, we spent a lot of time learning about fuel, aerodynamics, and gravity, but what I found most interesting was the 1 week in which we created a program for orbit mapping. After a discussion with and encouragement from my professor, I switched to Computer Science and went on to earn my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science with a specialization in Cybersecurity.

Outside of academics, I have worked at Microsoft and, most recently, C3.AI as a Software Engineer. With these experiences in hand, I hope to introduce students to the various fields and industries related to Computer Science and help them identify just what role it has to play in their lives and future careers.

In my spare time, I enjoy driving around the Bay Area and finding new landscapes to walk, hike, or simply drive through. I am also always looking for recommendations for a new show or movie to watch, and any new recipes to try out in the kitchen!
