Sixth Grade Girls’ Soccer

The team will introduce the student’s knowledge in the areas of Soccer. It includes skills, team dynamics, and strategies related to the sport. Students will learn to interact, make suggestions, work with others and address dynamic situations, which occur during competitive situations. Games will be played after school against other sixth-grade teams.

VB Girls’ Soccer

The VB girls team will learn all the fundamentals of soccer which will include and strategies. They will practice during our physical education slot and play games after school. All students will be taught the basics and there will be a skill progression during the season.

VA Girls’ Soccer

The team is designed to be our top-level team at the Middle School. One of the goals of this team is to teach the girls advanced level skills so that they will have the necessary tools to move up to the next level. The league is an A-level league. The A team will play against other top teams from our area. This program is designed to provide the student with a fun and competitive environment. Students will increase their knowledge of soccer. This includes skills, team dynamics, and strategies related to the sport. Students will learn to interact, make suggestions, work with others and address dynamic situations, which occur during competitive situations.

A Note about Transportation to Games

Menlo will provide round-trip transportation for all away games that begin at or before 5:00 pm. This does not include Sacred Heart School. If students need transportation to an away game that starts after 5:00 pm, please contact your coach for assistance. Please try to inform the coach in advance if you plan to pick up your child at the game. If you want to have someone else drive your child home, you need to inform the coach in writing—by text, e-mail, or note—in advance.
