Coach Shine gets win No. 400

The Knights’ victory over Crystal Springs Uplands marked the 400th for Coach Bill Shine, who is now 400-74 with the Menlo girls’ teams. Only one other coach in state history has more wins (Robbin Adair, Coronado, with 484), according to the Cal-Hi Sports record book. Last season, Shine reached the 400th mark with the boys’ team as well.
