Here’s the list of daily challenges students can complete as part of the Attitude of Gratitude project. There’s so much to be thankful for at Menlo and in this area. The project will help students reflect on their own lives and what they are thankful for.

  • Nov. 10: Describe something lucky that happened to you last year and how your life improved.
  • Nov. 11: Describe a special favor you received, how it helped you, and why it made you feel good.
  • Nov. 12: Describe a special gift or talent you have, how you use it, and why you are grateful for it.
  • Nov. 13: Name someone who makes your life better and explain why.
  • Nov. 14: Take a photo of something in nature that inspires awe in you and share it at your next advocacy.
  • Nov. 15: Describe something you are particularly grateful for in your life and why.
  • Nov. 16: Write a gratitude letter to someone you are thankful for in your life. Don’t forget to share it with them by Thanksgiving.
  • Nov. 17: Describe something that happened this past week that you are grateful for and why.
  • Nov. 18: Describe something that you have done that you are particularly proud of and why.
  • Nov. 19: Describe something that you do often that makes you happy and why.
  • Nov. 20: Think of something that you used today that others might take for granted.
  • Nov. 21: Give a treat (baked goods, boba tea, flower) to someone in your family that you appreciate.
  • Nov. 22: Take a picture of a food that you really enjoyed eating today.
  • Nov. 23: It’s Thanksgiving day! Give (virtually or in-person) your gratitude letter to the person you wrote to. If you’ve already done this, give a gratitude toast at dinner tonight with your family.
