Volleyball falls to Harker in 5; rebounds with 2 wins

The Menlo volleyball team defeated Mercy-Burlingame 25-13, 25-22, 25-21 in a WBAL match at home Friday night.
Sophomore Hanna Hoffman recorded 10 kills, 18 assists and nine digs. Freshman Havannah Hoeft posted 10 kills, eight digs and 19 assists. Senior Emma Holland collected 17 digs and Sophomore Sharon Nejad added eight kills. Senior Kaila Ting made three blocks and had five kills

9.26.2019 – Menlo School volleyball defeated Notre Dame-San Jose 25-14, 25-20, 25-15 in a West Bay Athletic League match Thursday at home.
Sophomore Sharon Nejad unleashed 15 kills, hitting .393, and had six aces. Junior Roxy Karrer finished with 12 kills, including six in the final set, and hit .450 for the match. Sophomore Hanna Hoffman distributed 18 assists and had four digs while freshman Havannah Hoeft added 14 assists and five digs. Seniors Abby Holleran had 14 digs and two aces, and Emma Holland added six more digs. Freshman middle Emma Donley posted seven kills, hitting. 700.
Menlo (10-7 overall, 1-3 league) will look to follow up with a win in a match against Mercy-Burlingame on Friday at home.
