CCS: Boys’ basketball falls to Mitty in Open Division

Knights to play in consolation Thu. 2.27

In its second trip to the CCS Open Division, the Menlo boys’ basketball team fell to top-seeded Mitty 69-38 Friday at Santa Clara High.
The Knights (20-5) head to the CCS Open consolation before finding out its NorCal matchup.
Menlo trailed by five at the end of the first half with junior forward Chris Cook scoring six points, The Monarchs (21-4) held the Knights to six second-quarter points then widened the gap with a 26-8 fourth quarter.
Menlo senior Cole Kastner scored 10 points amd had three assists while Justin Sellers grabbed six rebounds and scored 7.
