Boys’ water polo closes WCAL play with big win
10.20,2021 – The Menlo boys’ water polo team closed out the West Catholic Athletic League season with a commanding 19-5 victory over St. Ignatius at home Wednesday.
The Knights went 6-1 in league to take second place, and will host Orange Lutheran in a regular-season finale at 4:00 pm Thursday. Menlo begins league championships next Thursday.
Playing in just the second half, sophomore goalie Cormac Mulloy led Menlo with five assists, and senior co-captain Dakin Muhlner was the lone player with multiple steals on defense.
