Duo of Zhang-Brady finalist in CCS doubles final

11.17.21 – The Menlo School team of Tricia Zhang and Brynn Brady advanced to the CCS Double Championship before falling to the top seed Wednesday at Courtside Club-Los Gatos.

Earlier in the day, Brady and Zhang beat Harker’s Sophie Hernandez-Olivia Guo 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 to advance to the final against Palo Alto’s Erin Li-Iris Li. The third-seeded Knights doubles team fell to Palo Alto’s top-seeded team 6-2, 6-4 in the championship Wednesday evening.

They took the tournament by storm on Day 1, defeating teams from Evergreen Valley’s Ritali Jain-Natasha Doan 6-3, 6-1 and Westmont’s Lindsey Lee and Andrea Charfaunos 6-0, 6-3.
Brady and Zhang will rejoin their teammates for NorCals which begin Friday against Chico at Broadstone Racquet Club in Folsom
