Girls’ basketball takes 2nd at Terra Nova Tournament
In the championship game of the Terra Nova Tournament, the Menlo girls’ basketball team fell 50-33 to Burlingame on Saturday.
A short-handed Knights squad (4-2) fell behind 25-12 at the half to a strong Panthers team (6-1).
Junior Jordan Brooks, who was named to the all-tournament team, scored nine for Menlo. Junior Riley Jensen added seven more.
Sophomore Elana Wiesman had 13 for Burlingame.
Menlo next plays at Half Moon Bay on Saturday.
