The Menlo Knights played a thriller of a WBAL girls’ golf match, but fell 208-209 to Crystal Springs at Baylands GL on Wednesday.
Menlo junior Joelle Kim was medalist after she shot a remarkable 4-under 33, and four Knights players had their prep-career low.
Hailey Kim, a junior, fired a 38, Chloe Lee 40, Rhea Nandal 48, Elia Choe 50 and Paige Halligan 58.
Crystal’s Chaire Zhong had a team-low 35.
Menlo (10-4), which finished third in league round-robin, plays in WBAL Championships on Monday.
