11.5.2022 –In the opening round of the top tier CCS Open playoffs, the Menlo girls’ water polo team lost an 11-7 match against Los Gatos on Saturday. 

The Wildcats jumped out to a 2-0 first-quarter lead and held it through halftime.
Menlo senior Nyla Sharma was outstanding for the Knights, making 12 saves. Erica Fenyo, also a senior, scored twice for Menlo while senior Malia Chavinson, juniors Scarlett Gamble and Kenya Cassidy, and sophomore Sofia Flierl also added goals.

The Knights finish the season with an 18-9 overall record and are 4-2 for third place in West Catholic Athletic League play.
