Golden State Classic: Girls’ tennis rolls to 3-0 start

In just its seventh year, the 7th Annual Golden Gate Tennis Invitational has grown to a 32-team field, featuring schools from up and down the coast. Those teams converged on the South Peninsula with Menlo hosting two brackets, starting on Friday.

The host Knights (8-1) defeated Leigh 6-1, Homestead 7-0 and Burlingame 7-0. Gunn, Los Altos, Menlo-Atherton, Mountain View, Palo Alto and Sacred Heart Prep all hosted brackets as well.
