Menlo girls’ tennis clinched the West Bay Athletic League championship with 6-1 win over Sacred Heart Prep. It’s the 36th league title in program history. The Knights improve to 8-0 WBAL and 15-6 overall.
Andra Braicu, Elise Chen, Emily Li & Izzy Klugman swept singles in straight sets. Sulia Gayle-Milla Bardony fell at No.1, Kate Hsia-Sophia Jia, Riya Chandna & Rosalyn Zhou pick up wins at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles.
Menlo next plays Notre Dame-Belmont and Harker next week to close regular-season play.
