Biography

I joined Menlo’s faculty in 2006 as the School Nurse/Health Coordinator for the entire school. I am also the Administrator of the Child Care Center. 

After receiving my BSN from Georgetown University, I worked at The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center in New York City. The majority of my time there was spent as Charge Nurse in the Recovery Room, taking care of patients of all ages. I then advanced to administration, specifically Infection Control Nursing followed by Legal Affairs/Risk Management. I moved to the Bay Area in 1994 and became a visiting nurse. 

My other job away from Menlo is parenting my four children, while enjoying all the activities associated with balancing college students and teenagers. I am a fan of Broadway shows and music and studied and sang opera while living in NYC. Being a school nurse is my dream job!
