Artworks

“We worked on landscape scenes in art with Nina. I painted this scene with gouache, which is a medium similar to watercolors but more opaque. I enjoy painting landscapes, but for this specific work, I wanted to try painting without a reference image and only use my imagination to paint. By using the orange, red and yellow colors, especially on the surface of the ocean, I tried to create a warm overall tone. Instead of using a dark blue for the mountains, I used a more red-purple to go with the warm colors I used for the ocean.”
