Upper School Counselor

Biography

In my role as an Upper School Counselor, I provide emotional, social, and mental health support to the student body. I have a passion for promoting healthy and balanced students, empowering student voice, addressing topics of diversity and inclusion, and partnering with parents and teachers. In addition to serving as a counselor, I teach the Human Sexuality and Sexual Health course in the 9th Grade Seminar program and help coach the track team.

Since graduating with a B.A. in psychology from Middlebury College, I have worked in public and independent schools in Washington, D.C., Boston, and San Francisco. I later went on to pursue coursework and practicum experience at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, where I earned my license as a school counselor/social worker with a focus on adolescence. As a career educator, I have taught courses in Spanish, Psychology, and Wellness/Adolescence, coached soccer and track.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking on the Peninsula, spending time with my family in the East Bay, and following the US national soccer teams.
