In the spirit of Plato’s Academy, and to promote the enlightenment that can result from dialogue, Jack Bowen assigns his Philosophy students a “Conversation Paper.”

Part way through the semester, students choose a topic, establish a setting, develop characters that contribute to meaningful discussion. Aaron chose to write a screenplay about human nature and artificial intelligence rich in classical and modern allusions to stimulate his community of thinkers.
