Biography

I was born in Richmond, CA, and have been working at Menlo School as a coach and mentor for over twenty-five years and as an Assistant Athletic Administrator for over ten years. My role at Menlo School has brought me a lot of satisfaction. My eldest son graduated in 2021, and my youngest son is a member of the class of 2027.

I have a BA in Social Science with an Education Concentration and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona University Global Campus. I also possess a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Ohio University College of Business. I am an NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association) RAA (Registered Athletic Administrator) possessing LTI (Leadership Training Institute) certification in Legal Issues I (Risk Management), Philosophy, Leadership Organizations, and Professional Programs, Principles, Strategies and Methods, Legal Issues II (Title IX, Sexual Harassment, ADA, and Employment Law), Legal Issues III (Hazing Constitutional Law, Civil Rights, Statutory Law, and Legal Issues related to Security), and Concepts and Strategies for Interscholastic Budgeting and Finance.

In 2024, the Ohio University Alumni Association selected me for the National Society of Leadership and Success. As an educator and in life, I respect others’ feelings, passions, and ideals. I help to facilitate a healthy learning environment that is thought-provoking and challenging.
