The Fred R. Halverson Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizes those alumni who distinguish themselves in their lives and share the dedication to Menlo School exemplified by beloved former faculty member Fred R. Halverson.
About Fred Halverson
Fred had a lasting impact on the community during his 49 years at the School, serving as Assistant Headmaster, Dean, and teacher of American history and economics. In 1991 this award was established in his honor, and since his passing in 2003, it has kept his legacy alive at the school he called his second home.
