Authors in the Prado

Velázquez, Cervantes and Goya: Upper School Spanish teacher Rebecca Mouser studies the intersection of Spanish art, history and literature this summer.

Rebecca won a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to study the authors and artists she loves. She’ll spend her summer in Madrid, in the galleries of the Prado and the shelves of the Biblioteca Nacional, and then bring her research back to inspire her students. We can imagine them illustrating a play by Lope de Vega in the style of Goya!
