Boys’ water polo falls to St. Francis

The Menlo boys’ water polo team jumped out to an early lead before St. Francis came roaring back in a 13-8 loss at home Monday.

Senior Teddy Meeks paced the Knights’ attack with a hat trick and a team-high  three assists. Sophomore Calvin Barad was the only Menlo player to earn multiple ejections with two.

Menlo (5-5) faces WCAL foe St. Ignatius on Wednesday, then heads to the prestigious S&R Cup in Orange County over the weekend.
