10.12.2023 – The Menlo girls’ tennis team sailed to a 7-0 victory over Castilleja on Thursday to improve to 6-0 in West Bay Athletic League play.
Sophomore Elise Chen won at No. 1 singles , freshman Emily Li, junior Izzy Klugman and sophomore Sulia Gayle cruised in straight sets. The duo of junior Kate Hsia and freshman Sophia Jia , juniors Riya Chandna and Sofia Faris at No. 2, and freshman Allison Zhou and sophomore Elsa Sonsini take doubles.Menlo (13-6) plays Crystal next at home Tuesday.

The Menlo girls’ tennis team swept Harker in WBAL play on the road to improve to 5-0 in West Bay Athletic League play Tuesday.
Knights junior Andra Braicu took a 6-0, 6-1 win at No.1 singles, sophomore Elise Chen won 6-0, 6-2. Freshman Emily Li 7-5, 4-6 (6) at No. 3 and Hsia 6-0, 6-0. In doubles, Izzy Klugman and sophomore Sulia Gayle teamed for a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Freshmen Sophia Jia and Rosalyn Zhou won 6-2, 6-3 at two doubles, and the duo of junior Sophia Faris and freshman Milla Bardony picked up a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
