WCAL Tournament

Menlo 14, Serra 12

10.23.2023 – Menlo School boys’ water polo opened the WCAL Tournament with a 14-12 win over visiting Serra on Monday.

The fifth-seeded Knights  (10-14 overall, 3-4 league) next play at fourth seed St. Francis at 4:00 pm on Tuesday. 

Menlo staked a 9-0 lead before Serra launched a second-half rally, but the Knights held off any comeback. 

Senior Cormac Mulloy posted four goals, and four steals. Sophomore Alex Stoffel had three assists and a goal.  Junior Jackson Coleman poured in four goals and earned three ejections while Calvin Barad added four steals and scored a goal
