Girls’ lacrosse rolls past Los Gatos

Knights improve to 4-1

The Menlo girls’ lacrosse team defeated Los Gatos 17-7 in a non-league game on the road Monday.
The Knights improved to 4-1, getting seven goals from sophomore Elia Choe, who led eight scorers. Senior Kylie Jones contributed a pair of goals, an assist and nine draw controls. Sophomore Hannah Berthal also added two goals, an assist, 3 draw controls and three groundballs. Junior Ellie Knoll picked up a goal and five draw controls.
Knights junior Devon Schaefer made 15 saves and picked up four groundballs.
Maren Mulloy had two goals while fellow sophomore Marin Yamada had a goal and assist and three groundballs. Junior Ari Kaufman had a goal and two assists and senior Joelle Kim contributed a goal and assisted on another. Senior Paige Miller delivered an assist.
