The Menlo boys’ tennis took third place in the prestigious Palos Verdes Invitational, going 3-1 and defeating New Trier Township 6-1 in the final round Saturday,

Menlo junior Cooper Han went 2-0 at No.1 singles and won at No. 1 doubles with Arki Temsamani at the Palos Verdes InvitationalThe Knights improve to 11-1 overall after beating New Trier Township of Illinois, Redondo Union 6-0, Memphis 3-3 (won on games) and suffering its first loss of the season, to Torrey Pines 4-2.

Knights junior Cooper Han went 2-0 at No, 1 singles and teamed with sophomore Arki Temsamani for a win at No.1 doubles. Sophomore Yuanyi Ma won at No.1 singles and dropped two decisions at No.2 singles. Freshman Lucas Huang went 2-0 at No. 3 singles, 1-0 at No. 2 singles and 1-0 at No. 1 doubles. Temsamani finished the tournament 3-1 at No. 1 doubles with Han, Surya De Datta and Huang. DeDatta, a freshman, finished with 2-0 mark at Nos. 1 and 3 singles and 1-1 doubles.
