In a thriller of an all-Menlo School and all-senior tennis final in the WBAL Doubles Championship, Sam Engel and Nikhil Kothari edged out their teammates Octave Moha and Derkek Jain 6-7 (4), 7-6 (4), 10-6 at home Tuesday.

Moha and Jain won their first-round match in straight sets against a Priory team as well before picking up wins against Sacred Heart Prep and Harker before the final match.
In singles, Menlo sophomore Arki Temsamani won his first two matches against Zayd Azmeh of SHP and Harker’s Rithvik Navad before falling to Anton Lim of Crystal in the semifinal. Tanishk Konduri of Harker defeated Lim to win the singles title.
Menlo freshman David Lipeles fell to SHP’s Jad Azmeh in a super tiebreaker in the first round.
