Baseball shuts out El Camino

Knights bats come alive in 4th inning; Schnell with another CG victory

The Menlo School baseball team defeated visiting El Camino 6-0 on Tuesday in PAL-Ocean play.
The Knights (6-3 league, 14-8 overall) will visit El Camino on Thursday

Knights junior Ben Salama finished with a pair of hits, driving in two runs. He gave Menlo the eventual winning run on a two-out, bases-loaded single in the fourth.
Knights ace Ryan Schnell got the complete-game victory, giving up just two hits, striking out five and walking none.
Garrett Tran and Renner Barnett each had two hits as the Knights scattered nine. Chuck Wynn had a two-run double in the five-run fifth.
